In this image, the Lunar Rover is being tested by astronaut John Young during the Grand Prix run at the end of the first EVA at the Descartes landing site. Young is driving toward the Lunar Module, testing how the vehicle handles in the Moon’s one-sixth gravity, with dust clearly visible being thrown up by the wheels.
