Ausführlich und größtenteils handschriftlich über die Übersetzung seines Buches Music Here and Now ins Hebräische sowie die entstehenden Kosten. Ferner Informationen über seine Hamline Studies und über seine neuen Kammermusik-Kompositionen für Piano und Streicher. "... I had a correspondence with W. W. Norton regarding your project of translating my book 'Music Here and Now' into Hebrew. He advises me that he agrees with your suggestions and wishes you to make a definite proposal as to the token payment that you have mentioned, saying that 'anything which is possible for [you] would probably be acceptable to us'. May I, then, ask you to send me a statement as to what the publishers are willing to pay for the right of publishing my book ... Personally I would appreciate if they agree to reimburse me especially for the expenses of this correspondence, or else it might early happen that my share of the 'token payment' will be absorbed by these not inconsiderable expenses ...". - Auf dünnem Papier, etwas geknittert.
