Patrick Gass (1771-1870), eines wichtigen Mitgliedes der Expedition von Lewis und Clark. Es handelt sich um den ersten veröffentlichten Bericht der gesamten Expedition. "Earliest full first-hand narrative of the Lewis and Clark expedition, preceding the official account seven years" (Howes). – Titel leicht gelöst vom Innensteg, insgesamt leicht braunfleckig und teilweise etwas knickspurig. Sehr selten im Handel.
