Hedda Reidt trained in photography in Munich from 1917 to 1919, studying alongside future cinematographer Willy Zielke and fellow photographer Lotte Jacobi. During her development as a photographer she transitioned from Pictorialism to embracing the New Objectivity style. By 1928, she had established herself as an independent photographer, and her assignments included product photography for diverse clients, such as designers, educational institutions, and the Deutsche Werkstätten. Her material-focused photographs garnered recognition and were featured in prominent photography exhibitions. – Upper left corner slightly bumped, some light mirroring in edges, only visible in raling light, otherwise in very good condition.

For the Documenta 7 in 1982, Joseph Beuys embarked on a project titled "7,000 Oaks" (7.000 Eichen). As part of this project, Beuys proposed the planting of 7,000 oak trees throughout the city of Kassel, the host city of Documenta. Each oak tree was accompanied by a basalt stone, and the combination of tree and stone was considered a work of art. Beuys conceptualized this project as a manifestation of "social sculpture," where art and ecological advocacy intersected. – Corners slightly bumped, some smudging in lower right corner, small spot in upper margin, otherwise in very good condition.

Apart from depicting a range of bustling canal and river scenes, this rare collection of photographs also features the religious and military reception ceremony held in Bangkok on November 17, 1907, to welcome King Chulalongkorn back from his European journey. The grand procession moved through Rajdamnern Avenue, passing under elaborately constructed arches of honor, with enthusiastic participation from the public, turning the occasion into a joyous and festive celebration. – Some corners bumped, otherwise in good to very good condition with strong contrasts.

Erasmus Schröter's subjects are not professional models. In his series, "Komparsen" (Extras), the Leipzig photographer dedicates his focus to crafting universal portraits of ordinary, middle-aged individuals. He discovers his subjects among the records of theater extras in his hometown, giving them a moment in the spotlight during his elaborate photoshoots. Enhanced by backgrounds featuring the fading colors of East Germany's bygone era, Schröter skillfully navigates the balance between staged imagery and photographic documentation. Prints of the works in this series have been exclusively published in a limited edition. – In excellent condition.

Raghubir Singh, hailing from an aristocratic Rajput family in Jaipur, had his initial encounter with photography as a student when he came across Henri Cartier-Bresson's 1948 book, "Beautiful Jaipur." This discovery ignited his passion for photography, leading to a remarkable body of work that captures the essence of Indian culture and the evolving landscapes of the country. Today, Singh holds a prominent place in the history of early color photography, alongside celebrated photographers like William Eggleston, Stephen Shore, Joel Sternfeld, and Joel Meyerowitz. – A fine print with bright colors and in excellent condition.
