This collection of press photos shows the industrial production of large cannons, rifles and ammunition as well as grenade turning and production of cartridge cases, etc. – Edges curled, some mirroring in edges, otherwise in good condition.

Iwao Yamawaki was born in Nagasaki, Japan and studied at the Bauhaus in Dessau between 1930-1932. There he took classes in architecture, interior design and later photography with Walter Peterhans. After his return to Japan, he founded an architectural firm, which became one of the most prominent in postwar Japan. Abstract still-lifes, images shot at an angle and extreme close-ups are the focus in his photography. – Minimal surface scratches, only visible at an angle, otherwise in very good condition.
