Photographer unknown. Views of people, landscapes and temples of Burma. 1870s-1900. 17 albumen, collodion paper prints and gelatin silver prints. Various sizes, most circa 12 x 16 cm and larger (including 3 cdvs).
The images show various native people, including dancers, domestic servants, monks as well as villages and temples. – Some faded, otherwise in very good to good condition.

Photographer: Felice Beato (1824 - 1909), Aurélien Pestel (1855 - 1897) and unknown. Group portraits. 1870s - 1890s. 13 albumen prints. Various sizes, most circa 18 x 24 cm and larger. 5 mounted to board.

The images include Burmese monks and priests in front of their pagodas, a rare group image of a tribe with weapons (Pestel), a group of Dacoits of the Ye-U jungles (Beato), street musicians, orchestras and actors, landscapes and teakwood exploitation. – Some light handling marks/surface scuff marks, a few faded, some repaired tears, some with traces of previous mounting on the verso, otherwise several in very good condition.
